interesting you'd bring that up, Alex! you know, I actually thought of mentioning this very thing in my post, having visited your site during the course of putting it together....instead, I guess I just left you a golden opportunity to jump in, huh? :-)

there is certainly no excuse for any firm today not to have a website with tools like yours available to them....of course, somebody's still got to know how to write, as I alluded to re: the plans

cheers,
Graeme

Sorry I missed you at the reception. Those companies that are waiting for the prize money to build a website don't need it. Just use loudclick.net and build one for free. The only downside for them will be that they will be supporting their competition :)

Yes, Jeff, the MN Cup operators do tout the successes of some of their past winners -- at least on an anecdotal basis. (There is no ongoing tracking of all semifinalists that I am aware of.) On their home page at www.MNcup.org, the righthand column contains rotating stories about selected companies that have been among the top-three winners in recent years, and you can click "read more" to access all current stories. Also, to read more about the finalists in '05, '06, and '07, click on the magazine-supplement images in the center column.

Do you know if there's any information available on how past semi-finalist/winning MN Cup companies have done since they were selected in previous years?
