I wish VISI could provide better internet access than companies like Comcast and Qwest. Unfortunately they own the cable going into your home and business. And these companies are now starting to block service providers like VISI from providing internet access as they update their networks to newer technologies. Fortunately VISI had the foresight to change its business model several years ago. I'm becoming a strong supporter of municipal fiber initiatives like the ones in Monticello and St. Paul. I believe that cities are going to have to own the network pipes in order to ensure fair and unfettered access to all.

If Visi could provide me an internet connection faster and more reliable than Comcast cable that would be much appreciated.

Comcast is the devil.
