Sen. Franken’s Net Neutrality Petition

May 4, 2014 By Steve Borsch

Senator Al Franken just posted an online petition to SAVE THE INTERNET – SAVE NET NEUTRALITY.

It says:

sen-franken“A federal court just dealt net neutrality a huge setback.

If we don’t fight back, the big telecom companies could soon be able to control the Internet — resulting in unfair competition for small businesses and higher prices (for worse service!) for consumers.

Fight back by signing on below — and let’s make it clear that we support net neutrality!”

How many startup venture capitalists would want to fund large fees to pay-to-play on the internet? Not many.

If you don’t care yet and would like to read yet another short but balanced article, this is a good one: A Primer: Just What Is Net Neutrality — and Why All the Fuss?

Then if you are so motivated, go here to add your name to the list on the Senator’s petition.
