Twin Cities Startup Weekend EDU is a part of a global network of passionate leaders and entrepreneurs on a mission to inspire, educate, and empower individuals, teams and communities. Startup Weekends are 54-hour events where teachers, students, developers, designers, marketers, product managers, and startup enthusiasts come together to share ideas, form teams, build products, and launch startups! Startup Weekend EDUs are Startup Weekends with a focus on only education.

Learn about the future of education technology and the Twin Cities regional edutech cluster during EduTech 2014 Showcase & Forum: Engagement & Creative Opportunity Abounding! Through showcases, keynotes and case studies, EduTech will identify needs and potential as education and learning are disrupted by technology. The event includes Minnesota edutech sector recognition, a case study with Venture Academy of Minneapolis, networking and a dinner and keynote addressing a global view of technology and learning.
As the father of a smart and accomplished young woman who is also very tech-savvy, I’ve seen first-hand what it means to a young woman when technology is a strength. As an always on and always connected person who “gets it”, this strength has accelerated her learning, her career, as well as her overall engagement as she uses her skills and abilities to collaborate, adapt and create.
