Minnov8 Gang 222 – Print Me a Big Mac®

June 22, 2013 By Steve Borsch

big-macWe all want the Star Trek replicator but we have a way to go before that is a reality. Until then 3D printing is showing the way to what’s possible someday and will hopefully be used for good and not just fast-food! The Gang discusses the 3D printing space due to a public Minnesota company’s acquisition this past week of the premiere consumer-ish 3D printer on the market.

Hosts: Steve Borsch, Tim Elliott, Graeme Thickins and Phil Wilson.
Music: The Liberty Bell Composer: John Phillip Sousa Performer: United States Marine Band

Minnov8 Gang 220 – We Need to Search Your Underwear Drawer

June 8, 2013 By Steve Borsch

We Need to Search Your Underwear Drawer

The biggest story of the week is the release of National Security Agency documents which illustrate the depth and breadth of the surveillance going on in the United States. To say that there has been outrage (finally) and major questions is an understatement. The Gang also is a bit suspicious that the timing of these revelations is a bit suspect—coinciding with President Obama hosting a cybersecurity discussion with China President Xi Jinping—but who knows for certain.

Hosts: Steve Borsch, Tim Elliott and Phil Wilson (Graeme Thickins is off this week).
Music: Rotation by John Gilliat. From the podsafe Music Alley.
